Biography: Dr. Francesco Gallerano is Full Professor in Hydraulics at Faculty of Engineering, “Sapienza” University of Rome, and is Director of the Ph.D. School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, “Sapienza” University of Rome, Italy. He is a Member of the Superior Council of Public Works of the Italian Government. He is author of more than 100 publications at international level. His research foucus on drainage net water distribution systems; experimental and numerical hydraulics; maritime and fluvial hydraulics; environmental hydraulics; fluid mechanics of the transition to chaos of a convective flux; dynamic models for the representation of the turbulent stress tensor in LES.
